Terrible carton desogn
I bought 2 vegetable broth cartons and both appeared to be tampered with after I opened them. Both were a little smashed on the top so I thought this may be why, but I wasn't going to chance using them in my dish that day.
Because of the design that now has spikes under the lid to tear the foil insert as you open the container,be it only appeared to have been tampered with (or smashed to an open condition).
Which was embarrassing when I returned them to the store and was told it happens all the time due to the way the screw top now opens the container as it is turned!
Bad design. Belair were very nice about it and would have refunded my money but I just took them back as it was not their issue but Swansons!
Please correct this bad design so others preparing their dish aren't forced to adjust their recipe or make an unnecessary trip to the store for replacement!
